Job Description
As a Security Officer - Patrol Operations in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and public areas, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
- Support daily operations by following post orders, assisting with directional information, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
