Security Officer Patrol Inspection

About the role

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage processing location in Farmerville, LA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food processing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area access points, parking areas, employee entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Report unusual conditions, facility concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.16 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Day shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Stand for long periods of time
