Security Officer Patrol Inspection

About the Role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Baton Rouge, LA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and shift activity in required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and supporting a welcoming environment for authorized occupants and guests.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

$16.38 / hour

• Tuesday: 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
