About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reports in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and completely using site-required reporting tools.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
