Security Officer Patrol and Incident Reporting

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol and Incident Reporting in Streetsboro, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, property concerns, and/or unusual conditions according to established protocols.
• Document patrol activity and incidents accurately and communicate findings to Allied Universal and designated site personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
