Security Officer - Patrol Incident Reporting

As a Security Officer – Patrol Incident Reporting in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. This is a part‑time, unarmed patrol position at a logistics‑focused site, with the flexibility to build your own schedule using the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents.
• Support access control activities and badge management.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions that may differ by client site.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access‑control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 + for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Note: On‑site facilities are limited (e.g., portable toilets and rustic guard shacks).
