Security Officer Patrol Hospital Overnights

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Butler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and compliance with facility policies
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
