As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Full Time — $17.00 per hour

• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Tuesday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Thursday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with directions, escorts, and/or access-related inquiries as needed.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
