Security Officer Patrol Guest Support

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with visitor directions, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
