Security Officer Patrol and Guest Assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries at designated access points, verifying required credentials, following post instructions, and reporting issues related to property, equipment, and/or operational areas.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
