Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management procedures in accordance with location policies.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
