Security Officer - Flexible Schedule

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer. As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, you need to adapt with agility and precision. The role requires embracing change and thriving in the heart of the action. Location: Metro Atlanta Region | Multi‑Site Coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging activities, ensuring compliance with access control policies and security procedures.
• Operate and monitor access control, CCTV, alarm, and visitor management systems to maintain site security.
• Monitor and control facility access points, including truck gates, loading docks, and restricted areas.
• Verify credentials, shipments, deliveries, and visitor authorizations prior to granting access.
• Conduct interior patrols of warehouse, distribution, and office areas to identify and address security concerns.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must possess open availability and flexibility to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on‑call assignments as operational needs require.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in multiple security functions and environments, including access control, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, customer‑facing security, warehouse security, truck gate operations, or similar security assignments.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Must be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.

Skills

• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.
