Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts when needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, general information, and/or support during routine operations, special events, and changing location conditions. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
