Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screens employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies, documenting access activity and reporting irregularities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter, while reporting hazards and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
