Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with property contacts and public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily property operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with security-related concerns, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
