Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected financial institution. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations to help deter security-related incidents.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate findings to designated personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
