As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Dallas, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security‑related concerns while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access‑control concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain awareness of industrial operations, vehicle traffic, and changing work conditions while performing assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Armed guard card or license (preferred).
• CPR and/or First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Minimum age of 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (federal, state, and local).
• Consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Pay

Part‑time position with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.
