About the role

As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related situations, and deliver outstanding customer service at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of vehicle, visitor, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; document observations and report concerns through established procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with applicable laws, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures related to armed post duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification (required).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Armed Guard Card or License (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.00 / hour

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
