Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles, verifying credentials and communicating with site contacts regarding access questions or security-related concerns.
• Support asset flow operations by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and high-traffic zones for policy compliance, suspicious behavior, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
