Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay
$20.25 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with post instructions.
- Support hospitality operations by assisting with wayfinding, answering general questions, and documenting incidents and daily activities with professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
