Security Officer Patrol Duty

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with direction, restricted area control, and coordination during alarms, evacuations, and other site events as appropriate.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
