Security Officer Patrol Duty

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by observing site conditions, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
