Security Officer Patrol Driving Role

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and associate activity, observe for policy violations or suspicious behavior, and/or assist with access control, closing procedures, and other location-specific security-related duties.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
