Security Officer Patrol Driving Role

About the role

Award-winning security and facility services company Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driving role in Tamaqua, PA. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to explore new roles through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, contractors, and/or visitor activity.
• Support security-related operations at a manufacturing location by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
