Security Officer Patrol Driver - Third Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support incident reporting and daily operations by preparing clear reports, noting hazards or maintenance concerns, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
