Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver - Third Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting access control, and providing outstanding customer service at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, or delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications include comfort using a computer or tablet, access control/badge experience, and prior customer service experience.

Pay

$26.01 per hour.
