About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Street Sweeping in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity while helping maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
