Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Sweep in Markham, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. • DayTime: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support visitor, employee, and contractor movements in accordance with site policies and security-related procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, de-escalation, and follow-up on policy-related issues while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced business environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
