About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related observations in required reports.
- Maintain professional communication with site contacts, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership when addressing security-related matters.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
