About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
- Help to deter unwanted activity by monitoring foot traffic, observing surroundings, and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Support access control and loss prevention efforts by verifying authorized access to restricted areas, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders for opening, closing, and/or special events.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
