Security Officer Patrol Driver Role

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. This part-time role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining visibility to reduce security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will support daily operations through routine patrols and responsive presence while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an automotive-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance issues according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies in changing work environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Alarm panel experience and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday through Friday.
• 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM each day.
