As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to passengers, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, pedestrian traffic, and restricted areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
