Security Officer Patrol Driver - Full Time

About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Muscatine, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will support a secure environment through routine vehicle and foot patrols, visible presence, access monitoring, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents and supporting patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Note: At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Pay
$20.09 per hour.

- Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
