Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service

About the role
As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government parks and recreation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation locations.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of park grounds, trails, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to recreation facilities and restricted areas, assist with visitor directions and park rules, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

$18.54 / hour
