About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Customer Service in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing a visible, professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$20.00 / Hour
Schedule
Full Time. Daytime shift: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM.
