Job Description
As a Security Officer Customer Service Driver Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering strong customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, gates, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and document security-related activities, incidents, and daily observations in required reports.
- Support emergency and evacuation protocols, assist with traffic and/or pedestrian direction during site events, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, hazardous environments, and after-hours operations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
