Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to respond throughout the property while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols for a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities according to post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with crowd management during peak business periods and/or special events, and report concerns to property management or emergency services when appropriate.
- Support retail loss prevention awareness by observing suspicious behavior, assisting with trespass issues, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, and local responders.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
