About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Communicate observations and concerns promptly to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency response personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Confidential clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$14.71 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
