Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with site procedures and posted requirements.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following assigned post orders, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- 2+ years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
