How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic, helping to confirm authorized access for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
Support daily operations by observing shipping and receiving areas, reporting maintenance or procedural issues, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
This site has limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
