Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter, observing conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned spaces, reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy-related issues.
• Support access control and visitor processing activities by verifying credentials, following site protocols, and providing directions and assistance in a professional manner.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
