What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and/or merchandise areas for suspicious behavior, policy concerns, and other security-related issues, reporting concerns according to post instructions.
- Support closing and opening activities, crowd management, and/or customer assistance while following Allied Universal standards and location-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
