Security Officer Patrol / Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol / Driver in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will drive and conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities include supporting badge and access-control processes, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and documenting observations using computer or tablet tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this role).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Note: On-site facilities at this location include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Pay

$19.73 per hour.

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
