Security Officer Patrol Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, riders, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or service-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to location guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, administrative buildings, parking areas, platforms, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted spaces, verify permissions when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Support location operations during public interactions, emergencies, and/or scheduled activities by providing directions, communicating observed concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
