Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver at a busy retail shopping center in Tustin, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and designated retail spaces for policy compliance, suspicious behavior, and customer assistance needs.
• Support retail operations by assisting with crowd management, directional guidance, and coordination with property management or emergency personnel during incidents or special events.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

• Saturday: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Position type: Full Time / Swing Shift.
