Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor activity to help to support property rules, report concerns, and/or notify appropriate contacts when needed.
• Communicate with property staff, residents, guests, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters, service requests, and incidents affecting the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response activities.
