Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces, reporting security-related concerns, access issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
