About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support lobby and reception processes in alignment with site protocols.
  • Assist with incident reporting, shift logs, and communication of maintenance, access control, and/or workplace concerns that may impact daily operations.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
