Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule
The exact schedule for this role has not been determined. That is common for this type of position and may depend on pre-hire steps that take time which could include the onboarding and training processes. If hired, your manager will work with you to determine your schedule based on business needs and your availability.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly operations, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Aid visitors, employees, and/or members of the public with directions, information, and reporting procedures while supporting established site rules and post instructions.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
