Security Officer Patrol Driver Armed

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence while handling security-related incidents, providing directions and assistance, and preparing clear, accurate reports on daily activities and unusual events.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Armed certification (Level III in Texas).
• Driving skills (valid license required).

$26.50 / Hour

Schedule

DayTime: Wed 04:00 AM - 12:45 PM, Thur 04:00 AM - 11:45 AM, Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
